City of Cape May, NJ Article XXXV Library Advisory Committee

§ 10-121 Committee established.

The Cape May Library Advisory Committee is hereby established.

§ 10-122 Duties.

The duties of the Cape May Library Advisory Committee are as follows:

A. To act as an advisory body to the City Council regarding the needs and operations of the Cape May Branch of the Cape May County Library;

B. To act as a liaison between the City Council, the citizens of the City of Cape May and the Cape May County Library;

C. To determine the method of maintaining and utilizing funds donated to the Cape May Library for such library or scholarship purposes as the Committee deems proper; subject to the approval of the City Council.

§ 10-123 Composition; terms; appointment.

The Committee shall consist of five members, all of whom, shall be residents of the City of Cape May. All members shall serve one-year terms and shall be appointed by the Mayor.
