For each violation of the provisions of this chapter or of any order issued under its authority, the owner, contractor or other person interested as lessee, tenant or otherwise in any building or premises where such violation has been committed or shall exist shall be subject, upon conviction, to the penalties provided in § 1-15 of this Code, at the discretion of the Judge imposing the same. Each day that such violation continues shall be considered a separate violation of this chapter.
