As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings herein ascribed to them:
Written approval of the Director of Public Works.

The acceptance by the Village Board of transfer of the highway to the Village of Skaneateles.
The Village of Skaneateles Director of Public Works or his duly appointed agent.

Written approval by the Director of Public Works of the completed construction.

Grading to a tolerance of 1/2 inch in 10 feet.
New York State Department of Transportation standard specifications as adopted from time to time and addenda thereto issued to and including the date of approval of plans for the highway construction.

The Village of Skaneateles Planning Board.
The total width of property to be deeded to the Village, a minimum of 60 feet wide.
The entire area disturbed for highway construction, from top of slope to toe of slope, including ditches.
That portion of the highway included between the outside edges of the pavement or inside curbing.
The bottom of the granular base material.
The pavement on which traffic travels.
All tests, cores and inspections mentioned in this article shall be performed without cost to the Village of Skaneateles and written results of the same shall be filed with the Village.
