As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
COIN-OPERATED AMUSEMENT
Any device which for a fee provides amusement for the public and shall include, but not be limited to, video game machines, pinball, slot machines, and mechanical or electronic devices.
ESTABLISHMENT
A business with one or more coin-operated amusement devices.

Location of coin-operated amusements is restricted to Business Zoning Districts D-6 and D-7 as identified by the Borough of Edgewood Zoning Map dated March 5, 1999.[1]

Each coin-operated amusement will require annual license and registration. A fee as set forth in Chapter 118, Fees, will be collected by January 15 of each year.

Any person, corporation or copartnership who or which shall exhibit or have in operation any coin-operated amusement device, such as pinball machine, slot machine, mechanical or electronic machine, which shall be in violation of this chapter, shall, for each offense thereunder, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment thereof, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
For the purposes of enforcement of this chapter, each separate machine or device, and each separate date that the same shall be employed in violation hereof, shall be considered a separate and distinct offense.
