A.
The words and phrases used in this chapter shall, for the purposes of this chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by Article 1 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York.
B. BUSINESS DISTRICT CURBLINE DESIGNATED PARKING SPACE HOLIDAYS OFFICIAL TIME STANDARD STREET, AVENUE, HIGHWAY and ROUTE 14A UNDESIGNATED AREA
The following words and phrases, which are not defined by Article 1 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section for the purposes of this chapter:
The area bounded as follows: north by Chapel Street and Clinton Street; west by Liberty Street; east by Champlin Avenue and Central Avenue; and south by Lake Street.
The prolongation of the lateral line of a curb or, in the absence of a curb, the lateral boundary line of the roadway.
An area on a Village street or in a municipal parking field where the pavement is marked for vehicle parking.
New Year's Day, Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Whenever certain hours are named herein or on traffic control devices, they shall mean the time standard which is in current use in this state.
The entire width between the boundary lines of every street, avenue, highway or route named in or referred to in this chapter and includes the sidewalk, curb, paved portion, portion between pavement and sidewalk, shoulder and all other portions of the public way by whatever phraseology the same may be known.
Any area on a Village street or in a municipal parking field that does not have pavement marking for parking.
