The Village of Westhampton Beach hereby adopts the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, effective January 1, 1984, otherwise known as "Title 9, Subtitle S, Chapter I," as found in Volume 9-Executive (B) of the official compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York, published by the Secretary of State of the State of New York in replacement of and in succession to the former State Building Construction Code and, to the extent inconsistent herewith, in replacement of and in succession to the National Fire Protection Code heretofore adopted under Local Law No. 4 of 1976.
