Pursuant to Act No. 126 of 1976 amending Section
10 of the Act of May 25, 1945 (P.L. 1050, No. 394), known as the "Local
Tax Collection Law,"[1] all taxes levied by the Council of the Borough of Media
collected pursuant to the Local Tax Collection Law shall, after four
months from the date of the tax notice, have charged to each a penalty
of 10%, which penalty shall be added to the taxes by the Tax Collector
and be collected by him.
