A bulkhead line is hereby established on the east shore
of Rice Lake described as follows: commencing at the south quarter corner
of Section No. 15, Township No. 33 north, Range No. 11 west, Barron County,
Wisconsin; thence north 4° 27' west 1,314.80 feet; thence south 84°
20' west 2,683.03 feet to the southwest corner of Lot No. 1 of the Shudlick
Addition to the Town of Rice Lake; thence continuing west along said line
179.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence north 57° 49' east
80.96 feet; thence north 21° 19' east 218.24 feet to a point on the
north property line of Lot No. 2 extended, being 89.42 feet from the northwest
corner of said lot.
Said bulkhead line, together with a map of the same,
shall be filed with the Public Service Commission for its approval, together
with copies of this section, and subject to the further provisions of W.S.A.
s. 30.11 relating to the establishing of bulkhead lines.
Island bulkhead line description. An island bulkhead
line located in SW 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 33, T35N, R11W, City of Rice Lake,
Barron County, Wisconsin, more fully described as follows: commencing at the
south quarter corner of said Section 33, thence N 1° 51' 17" W along
the west line of the east half of said Section 33 a distance of 2,581.05 feet;
thence N 89° 37' 20" E a distance of 23.57 feet to a point on the
east right-of-way line of County Trunk Highway SS 200 feet wide and on the
north right-of-way line of a proposed road 145 feet wide; thence continuing
along the north line of said proposed road N 89° 37' 20" E a distance
of 631.00 feet; thence N 1° 03' 00" W a distance of 495.20 feet;
thence S 89° 37' 20" W a distance of 72.96 feet to the point of beginning
of the island bulkhead line; thence N 72° 51' 40" W a distance of
73.68 feet; thence N 2° 57' 50" E a distance of 57.14 feet; thence
N 41° 39' 06" W a distance of 46.10 feet; thence N 3° 50'
54" E a distance of 35.10 feet; thence N 55° 55' 29" E a distance
of 23.85 feet to a point being 485.00 feet east of the east line of the aforesaid
County Trunk Highway SS; thence S 37° 04' 46" E a distance of 81.60
feet; thence S 70° 21' 24" E a distance of 48.10 feet; thence S 2°
04' 12" W a distance of 55.10 feet; thence S 33° 11' 07" W a
distance of 30.20 feet to the point of beginning of the island bulkhead line.
Bulkhead line description. This bulkhead line is located
in the SW 1/4, Section 33, T35N, R11W, City of Rice Lake, Barron County, Wisconsin,
more fully described as follows: commencing at the south quarter corner of
said Section 33, thence N 1° 51' 17" W along the west line of the
east half of said Section 33 a distance of 2,581.05 feet; thence N 89°
37' 20" E a distance of 23.57 feet to a point on the east right-of-way
line of County Trunk Highway SS 200 feet wide and on the north right-of-way
line of a proposed road N 89° 37' 20" E a distance of 631.00 feet;
thence N 1° 03' 00" W a distance of 403.06 feet to the ordinary high
waterline; thence S 37° 25' 00" W a distance of 46.55 feet along
the ordinary high waterline to the point of beginning of the bulkhead line;
thence N 1° 03' 00" W a distance of 56.38 feet; thence S 89°
37' 20" W a distance of 75.00 feet; thence S 89° 37' 20" W a
distance of 103.23 feet; thence N 0° 05' 44" W a distance of 73.67
feet; thence N 14° 32' 46" W a distance of 53.60 feet; thence N 18°
14' 24" E a distance of 105.36 feet; thence N 19° 16' 56" W
a distance of the bulkhead line; thence N 36° 40' 40" W a distance
of 56.57 feet along the ordinary high waterline; thence S 89° 37'
20" W a distance of 371.08 feet to the east line of aforesaid County Trunk
Highway SS; thence along said line S 01° 03' 00" E a distance of
869.00 feet to the aforesaid point on the north line of a proposed road.
The above bulkhead line is declared to be in the public
interest because Maisel & Associates of Michigan, the riparian owner,
by knowing with certainty the boundaries within which it can develop, will
proceed to develop a retail shopping center. The proposed development will
add significantly to the city's tax base, will provide a means for the
city to implement its Tax Incremental Finance District, will provide employment
for members of the community and will provide area residents with shopping
diversity. The area will provide good habitat for aquatic plant and animal
life.
Three certified copies of this subsection, together with
three true and correct copies of such map, shall be submitted to the Department
of Natural Resources for its approval.
Upon the return and receipt of such approved maps the
same shall be filed as follows: one in the office of the Department of Natural
Resources, one in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Rice Lake,
Wisconsin, and one in the office of the Register of Deeds for and in Barron
County, Wisconsin.
