A.
The owner or tenant of any lands fronting on any street, highway, road or roadway shall be required to keep all bushes, hedges and other plant life growing within 10 feet of any street cut or trimmed to a height of not more than 2 1/2 feet where it shall be determined by the Division of Inspections that such cutting or trimming shall be necessary and expedient for the preservation of the public safety and particularly to eliminate obstructions to visibility for pedestrians and vehicular traffic using such street, road, roadways or highway.
B.
Any owner of lanes fronting on the intersection of two streets, highways, roads or roadways shall be required to keep all bushes, hedges and other plant life growing within 10 feet of any street and within 25 feet of such intersection trimmed to a height of not more than 2 1/2 feet where it shall be determined by the Division of Inspections that such cutting or trimming shall be necessary and expedient for the preservation of the public safety and particularly to eliminate obstructions to visibility for pedestrians and vehicular traffic utilizing such street, road, roadway or highway.
C.
Any person violating this section shall be given a written notice that such bushes, hedges or other plant life shall be cut or trimmed within 10 days of the receipt of said notice.
