The provisions of Part
2 of this chapter shall be administered and enforced by the administrative officer as defined in §
245-3 or his designee. In no case shall a permit be granted for the construction, alteration or use of any building where the proposed construction, alteration or use thereof would be in violation of any provisions in Part
2 of this chapter. It shall be the duty of the administrative officer or his designee to cause any building, plans or premises to be inspected or examined and to order, in writing, the remedying of any conditions found to exist in violation of any provisions of Part
2 of this chapter, and he or his designee shall have the right to enter any building or premises in the course of these duties. Any actions of a duly authorized designee shall be subject to the review and approval or disapproval of the administrative officer.

Any application for a zone change under this
chapter shall be accompanied by a certification executed by the Tax
Collector indicating that the real property taxes on those premises
which are the subject of such application have been paid and are current
to the date of the application.

Failure to comply with any provision of Part
2 of this chapter shall be considered a violation of Part
2 of this chapter and shall be punishable as provided in Chapter
1, §
1-15, General penalty. Each date of such violation's continuance shall be considered as a separate offense and shall be separately punishable. These penalties shall not be the exclusive remedy available, and nothing in Part
2 of this chapter shall prevent the application for and the obtaining of injunctive relief.
The Township Council of the Township of Brick may, at any time, after a public hearing, add to or amend any portion of Part
2 of this chapter in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq., as amended.
