Every agent, engineer, builder, contractor, owner, tenant or other person
who commences, takes part or assists in any violation hereof, or who constructs,
maintains or uses any building, structure or premises by which any provision
of this chapter is violated, shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250
for each violation thereof or imprisonment for not exceeding 15 days for each
violation, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each week that a violation
of this chapter is committed or is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate
offense.
