The office of Recreation Director of the Town of Pawling is hereby created.
This Town officer shall have responsibility for planning and directing the
recreation program for the Town of Pawling and shall include the following
duties:
A.
To promote recreational activities.
B.
To make policy in consultation with the Town Board on
matters of size, scope and financing of the recreational program.
C.
To train recreational personnel.
D.
To have charge of, plan and improve recreation areas.
E.
To conduct public relations and press announcements for
the Recreation Department.
F.
To select and purchase materials and supplies.
G.
To interview, select, hire and dismiss employees of the
recreation program.
The Recreation Director shall be selected by and serve at the pleasure
of the Town Board of the Town of Pawling.
