All applications for each public display of
fireworks made pursuant to the provisions of the Penal Law of the
State of New York shall first be referred to the Fire Inspector and
to the Police Commissioner of the City of Rye for approval before
any permit for the public display of fireworks is issued by the City
Clerk pursuant to the provisions of said Penal Law. Application for
such permit shall be accompanied by an inspection and permit fee to
be set annually by resolution of the City Council before adoption
of the budget for the following year for each display.
