WHEREAS, there is cost to the Town for striping and restricting
of loading zones approved by the Town; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the Town
of West New York that commercial establishments which benefit from
approved loading zones bear the cost of striping and restriping of
approved loading zones:
The Police Department of the Town of West New
York shall be responsible for the striping and restriping of approved
loading zones within the Town.

A. After approval
of a loading zone site by the Mayor and Commissioners of the Town
of West New York, the individual, corporation, partnership or entity
requesting the loading zone designation shall submit a fee of $250
to the Town of West New York for the initial striping of said loading
zone.
B. Subsequent
restriping of any loading zone shall be provided as required. The
fee for restriping shall be $250. This provision shall apply to all
loading zones existing as of the date of passage of this article and
all loading zones approved after passage of this article.

On or before July 1, 2012, and on the succeeding July 1 of each
year, all individuals, corporations, partnerships or entities, which
have been granted a loading zone, shall make application in writing
on forms supplied by the West New York Police Department Traffic Division
and shall supply a letter of intent addressed to the Director of Public
Safety of the Town requesting a location for the loading zone and
invoices from the last 30 business days. An application and restriping
fee of $250 must be submitted upon submission of the completed application
and supporting documentation to the Traffic Division.

Any loading zone application which is not renewed on an annual
basis, as aforesaid, shall be forfeited, and the Town of West New
York shall, upon notice to the individuals, corporations, partnerships
or entities, which have been granted a loading zone, then remove posted
signs and striping and shall permit the space to be restored to public
parking.
