be extended after the erection of such building or part thereof has
been completed in conformity with the provisions of this chapter.
Temporary certificates shall be issued for a period not exceeding
six months but shall be renewable for six-month periods during the
completion of construction or alteration of any building. Such temporary
certificates shall not be issued except under such restrictions and
provisions as will adequately assure the safety of the occupants of

a temporary certificate of occupancy shall deposit with the chief
fiscal officer a performance bond in sufficient amount and duration
to secure the completion of the site plan as approved. The amount
of the bond shall be determined by the Town Engineer.
The Building and Zoning Administrator shall
maintain a record of all certificates, and copies shall be furnished
upon request to any person having a proprietary or tenancy interest
in the building affected.
