Parking of vehicles, boats and trailers on Town property at 95 County Road shall be regulated by the Police Department. Parking shall be prohibited on the property except for residents who have purchased and affixed to their vehicle and boat trailer a permit and/or appropriate one-time usage fee, as outlined in §§ 134-51 through 134-56 herein.

In addition to the restrictive use of the parking area and boat ramp located at 95 County Road by Barrington residents, it is further required that all Barrington residents obtain a permit for the use of said boat ramp and parking area. The use of said boat ramp and parking shall only be allowed to such Barrington residents in possession of this permit.
Such permit shall be obtained from the Barrington Police Department for a fee in an amount to be set from time to time by the Town Council and shall expire after a period of one year from the date of issuance.
Such permit shall be in two parts and shall be prominently displayed on the boat trailer and motor vehicle. It shall be the responsibility of the Police Department and Assistant Harbormaster to see to the strict enforcement of this section.
Those Town residents or taxpayers who wish to utilize the boat ramp on an occasional basis shall not be obligated to obtain the permit as outlined in §§ 134-51 through 134-53 herein. In lieu of the permit fee, such resident or taxpayer may obtain permission from the Police Department to pay a one-time fee in an amount to be set from time to time by the Town Council for each occasion on which the said ramp is utilized.
The residency provisions herein contained shall apply to personal pleasure crafts only and shall not apply to commercial fishermen and their commercial crafts.
Any violation of this article shall be subject to the same penalty provisions as set forth in § 179-16 of Chapter 179, Vehicles and Traffic, of the Code of the Town of Barrington.[1]
