Garbage and refuse shall be collected at least once each week in a solid
waste subdistrict providing collection service.
It is the intent of this Part 2 that the reasonable accumulation of
refuse of each family for the collection period will be collected. The Director
may authorize the collector to refuse to collect unreasonable amounts of refuse.
The County's collector will not collect large, bulky items, such as appliances,
furniture, and similar materials.
It is the intent of this Part 2 that industries, commercial establishments,
hospitals, schools, churches, and other institutions shall have their refuse
collected by a privately contracted collector.
The Department shall supervise and direct the removal of wearing apparel,
bedding, or other refuse from homes or other places where highly infectious
or contagious diseases have prevailed. Such refuse shall not be placed in
containers for regular collections.
