GENERAL REFERENCES
Manner of holding annual municipal election — See Charter Section 7.
Any qualified voter of the Town of Millville may cast his or her vote by absentee ballot in any municipal election held under the provisions of Section 7 or any other section of the Charter, such votes to be counted in the total for the municipal election, if he or she is unable to appear at the polling place because of any of the reasons set forth in 15 Del. C. § 5502, as such may be amended from time to time, which is incorporated herein by reference.
The process for absentee voting (forms, procedures, challenges, etc.) shall be as set forth in 15 Del. C. §§ 5503 through 5524, excepting therefrom 15 Del. C. §§ 5503(b)(2) and (c) and 5522(b), as such may be amended from time to time and which are incorporated herein by reference. Said sections of the Title 15 of the Delaware Code have been made applicable to all municipal elections held after June 2007 according to 15 Del. C. § 7559. However, the Commissioners deem it advisable to implement the process for absentee voting set forth in said sections of Title 15 now, prior to the June 2007 effective date, for purposes of continuity.
