The City of South Pasadena does hereby select Progressive Waste Solutions of Florida, Inc., as the contractor for the Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit 1 to this ordinance.[1]

Progressive Waste Solutions of Florida, Inc., shall have 15 days to execute the Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Agreement. Prior to the effective date of the Franchise Agreement, Progressive Waste Solutions of Florida, Inc., shall substitute for the proposal security a performance payment bond in the amount of $200,000. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute Exhibit 1 on behalf of the City.
