Chapter 38 Residency Requirements

§ 38-1 Requirement for Village Clerk.

Any person who is appointed to the position of Village Clerk of the Village of Atlantic Beach shall be a resident of the County of Nassau or of an abutting or adjacent county (Queens County or Suffolk County).

§ 38-2 Requirement for Treasurer.

[Added 7-9-2001 by L.L. No. 1-2001[1]]

Any person who is appointed to the position of Treasurer of the Village of Atlantic Beach shall be a resident of the County of Nassau.

§ 38-3 Supersession of state law.

To the extent that this chapter is inconsistent with Village Law § 3-300, this chapter shall supersede said Village Law.
