It shall be unlawful for any motor vehicle to cross any sidewalk or curb except at a properly constructed driveway. Permission may be granted by the Village Engineer for trucks to cross a curb or sidewalk where circumstances shall require the same for special purposes, and the Village Engineer shall direct and require as a condition of such permission that such curb or sidewalk be properly planked for the protection of such sidewalk and curb. Wherever for any purpose a truck of more than five tons' capacity shall cross a sidewalk or driveway not constructed in conformity with sidewalk or driveway specifications contained in Part 1, it shall be the duty of the owner and operator of such motor vehicle to use adequate planking for the protection of the driveway and sidewalk.
It shall be unlawful for any person except children under the age of 10 years to ride a bicycle or operate any vehicle which such child may lawfully operate upon any sidewalk or crosswalk in the Village.
A. 
Lights, bell, horn and other required equipment. It shall be unlawful to operate any bicycle or motor vehicle upon any of the streets of the Village without lights, bell, horn and any other equipment required by the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
B. 
Prohibited horns, whistles. No bicycle or motor vehicle operated on any of the streets of the Village shall carry any horn, whistle or other device sounding like the siren of fire apparatus, ambulance or police vehicle.[1]
