[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls 11-8-1978 as L.L. No. 4-1978. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Subject to the limitations hereinafter set forth, the Fire Inspector, the Building Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector, the Zoning Administrator, the Dog Control Officer and such community service officers of the village as from time to time may be designated by the Board of Trustees are hereby authorized to enforce the provisions of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York with respect to the parking of motor vehicles within the territorial limits of the village, and the provisions of any and all village ordinances and/or local laws prohibiting, limiting or otherwise regulating such parking.[2]

The authority granted in § 5-1 hereof shall be exercised by the persons so designated only while they are in the uniform of their position and during the on-duty hours of their employment.
