As used in these regulations, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
Any person, firm, corporation or partnership who shall apply to the Commission for approval of a subdivision or resubdivision, either for himself or herself or as an agent for others.
The Town Plan and Zoning Commission of the Town of West Hartford.
A dead-end street with a turnaround.
The first meeting of the Commission at which the application is on the agenda.
The number of feet of rise in 100 feet of horizontal distance, expressed as a percent.
A change in a map of an approved or recorded subdivision or resubdivision if such change:
Any vehicular travelway, exclusive of driveways serving not more than two contiguous lots. An approved street is any street whose location has been approved by official action of the Commission. An accepted street is any street which has become public by virtue of official acceptance by the Town Council.
The division of a tract or parcel of land into three or more lots for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of sale or building development, expressly excluding development for agricultural purposes, and includes resubdivision.
Those zoning regulations which are in effect when the plan for a subdivision is filed with the Commission.[1]
