It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely assume or pretend to be a police officer, code enforcement officer, fire fighter, fire marshal or inspector or any representative of the Department of Buildings and Inspection, Department of Parks and Recreation or any other person employed by the city or by any other governmental agency for the protection of the peace, health and safety of the city or to take upon himself or herself to act as such or to require any person to aid him or her in any manner pertaining to the duties of persons employed by the city for the protection of the peace, health and safety of the city.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I.
