As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT
A. 
TRAVEL TRAILERA vehicular, portable structure built on a chassis, designed to be used as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational and vacation uses, permanently identified "travel trailer" by the manufacturer.
B. 
PICKUP CAMPERA structure designed primarily to be mounted on a pickup or truck chassis and with sufficient equipment to render it suitable for use as temporary dwelling for travel, recreational and vacation uses.
C. 
MOTORIZED HOMEA portable dwelling designed and constructed as an integral part of a self-propelled vehicle.
D. 
FOLDING TENT TRAILERA folding structure, mounted on wheels and designed for travel and vacation use.
E. 
PRIVATE BUSAny bus-type vehicle converted for use as a temporary dwelling for travel, recreational and vacation uses and used other than for public conveyance.
F. 
BOATS and BOAT TRAILERSIncludes boats, floats and rafts, plus the normal equipment to transport the same on the highway.
G. 
UTILITY TRAILERA vehicle used to transport motorcycles, snowmobiles, go-carts and stock cars.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to park any recreational equipment on any public right-of-way or city street within the City of Roseville for a period longer than 30 minutes unless such vehicle is parked with the entire vehicle immediately adjacent to, as measured on a perpendicular line, a residence occupied on a permanent basis or owned by the owner or lessee of the recreational equipment. Where such vehicle is parked adjacent in such fashion, 12 hours' time shall be permitted.
B. 
During any twenty-four-hour period, a violation shall be deemed to have occurred if the recreational equipment is observed to be parked within two vehicle lengths of its previously observed location more than 30 minutes or 12 hours after having been first observed, whichever is applicable.
The Chief of Police for the City of Roseville for good cause may grant special parking permits permitting the parking of recreational equipment on residential streets within the City of Roseville, provided that each permit is granted for a definite period of time.
All other sections of the City of Roseville ordinances and Code relating to the parking of recreational equipment on residential streets not in direct conflict with this chapter shall remain in full force and effect.

Any person or entity violating the provisions of this chapter shall be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I.
