All work required by the Commission shall be done in accordance with the provisions of the approval. The Engineer shall periodically inspect the work being performed, and failure to comply with the approvals granted shall justify an immediate stop-work order by the Engineer. Upon the issuance of a stop-work order, all approvals granted by the Commission and all approvals based on the Commission's approval shall be deemed suspended. No work shall start again until the Engineer shall, in writing, release the stop-work order. Such a release may be conditioned upon certain action by the developer, and failure to meet those conditions shall be treated as work performed while under a stop-work order; then a municipal complaint shall be issued against the developer for a violation of this chapter and each day that conditions exist contrary to the approvals granted by the Commission shall be deemed a separate offense under this chapter.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances other than the Zoning Ordinance of Burlington which are inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Any person who shall commit an offense under this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the maximum penalty in Chapter 1, Article II, Definitions; General Penalty.
