There is hereby created and established a Sewerage Authority for the
Borough of Eatontown, in the County of Monmouth, New Jersey, under the corporate
name and title of "The Eatontown Sewerage Authority." Said Sewerage Authority
shall have and exercise all of the powers conferred by said Chapter 138 of
the Laws of New Jersey of 1946, as amended, together with any other powers
which may hereafter be conferred by law upon Sewerage Authorities, within
the territorial boundaries of the Borough of Eatontown, in the County of Monmouth,
New Jersey.

The members of said Eatontown Sewerage Authority shall be hereafter
appointed by resolution of the governing body of the Borough of Eatontown,
in the County of Monmouth and State of New Jersey, in the manner provided
in said Chapter 138 of the Laws of New Jersey of 1946, as amended, and each
member shall receive such compensation not in excess of $1,000 in any one
year for his or her services as such member as shall hereafter be determined
by said Eatontown Sewerage Authority; provided, however, that in the event
any member of said Authority shall also be appointed an officer, agent or
employee of said Authority, then such member shall also receive such additional
compensation for services as such officer, agent or employee as said Eatontown
Sewerage Authority shall determine.
A certified copy of this chapter after its final adoption in the manner
provided by law shall be filed in the office of the Secretary of State of
the State of New Jersey.
