Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, every person convicted of a violation of a provision of this Part 1 or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $100 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.

Unless otherwise provided by law, the fine for overtime parking in the municipal parking lots, which include the East Parking Lot located at White Street and Throckmorton Avenue directly behind Borough Hall, the West Parking Lot bounded by Route 71 and Lewis Street and the Lower Parking Lot on Throckmorton Avenue, shall not exceed $100.
