The Borough of Evans City shall:
A.
Join and associate in the creation of the Southwest
Butler County Regional Planning Commission in conformity with the
aforementioned state statutes, as now or hereafter amended.[1]

P.S. § 10101 et seq.) and 16 P.S. § 5209.
B.
Appropriate public funds for the operation of the
Southwest Butler Regional Planning Commission in the amount of $440
for each of the years 1962 and 1963, and for such subsequent years
as the governing body shall approve; which is determined to the cost
of operating the Regional Planning Commission and accomplishing the
planning objectives of the participating municipalities.
C.
Appoint Oscar B. Shoup as representative to the Southwest
Butler Regional Planning Commission for a term expiring January 31,
1964.
D.
Appoint Frank Lotz as alternate to the Southwest Butler
Regional Planning Commission for a term expiring January 31, 1963.
E.
Authorize the Executive Officer of the Borough of
Evans City to execute the Articles of Agreement, a copy of which is
attached hereto,[2] and made a part hereof, and shall direct the Secretary
to duly attest the signature, place the Corporate Seal thereof and
forward a certified copy of this article to the Secretary of the Southwest
Butler County Regional Planning Commission.

Pursuant to the authority granted by 53 P.S.
§ 10201 et seq., the Borough Council of the Borough of Evans
City hereby establishes its five-member Planning Commission, to be
known as the "Planning Commission of the Borough of Evans City."
Said Planning Commission shall be organized
in accordance with and have all the powers duties set forth in 53
P.S. § 10201 et seq. Procedures for appointment and removal
of members shall also be in accordance with said statutes.
