A Board of Appeals shall be established by the Board of Supervisors
in conformity with the relevant provisions of the UCC, and for the purposes
set forth therein. The Board of Appeals may be established by joint action
of the Township and other participating municipalities, or the County of York,
Pennsylvania, as provided by law. The Board of Supervisors specifically agrees
to enter into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement to create, operate,
maintain and fund a joint Board of Appeals with other participating municipalities,
or the County of York, substantially in the form as the intergovernmental
cooperation agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. The Township hereby adopts the joint Board of Appeals created
by this article and Exhibit A as the North Codorus Township Board of Appeals,
as authorized by Ordinance No. 182-06-2004.
The Chairman of the Township's Board of Supervisors and the Township's
Secretary are authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the Township.
The Board of Supervisors shall establish fees assessable by the Township
for the administration of the joint Board of Appeals pursuant to this article
and the intergovernmental cooperation agreement by resolution from time to
time.
