[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Woodstock 8-2-1966. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A. 
The Town of Woodstock is the owner in fee of, or possesses a vested right in, specifically but without limitation, the areas known as the Village Green, Big Deep and Mallory Grove, Andy Lee Memorial Field and the California Quarry Area.
B. 
It is necessary to establish regulations pertaining to public lands within the Town of Woodstock.

(1) 
No dogs or domestic animals will be allowed on the following Town-owned recreational properties:
(a) 
The entire Andy Lee Field.
(b) 
The Rick Volz baseball Field.
(c) 
The Comeau soccer fields, as bounded by the tree lines and the middle meadow.
(2) 
If the custodian is found guilty, he/she may be fined the maximum allowed under this chapter.
C. 
It is hereby declared that the use and occupation of all Town-owned lands in the Town of Woodstock is a matter of public interest and the regulation thereof by the provisions hereinafter prescribed and enacted and their necessity in the public interest and the promotion of the public welfare are hereby declared as a matter of legislative determination.
A. 
None of the aforesaid areas shall be occupied by any individual on any day between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. without written permission of the Town Board or its duly designated agent or officer.
B. 
No sales or other business of any kind or nature shall be conducted at or on any of the areas aforesaid without the permission of the Town Board or its duly authorized officer or agent and, in the case of the Village Green, the concurrence of the Dutch Reformed Church of Woodstock.
C. 
There shall be no occupancy of the Village Green except upon the benches provided therefor without written permission of the Town Board or its duly authorized officer or agent and the concurrence of the Dutch Reformed Church of Woodstock or its duly authorized agent.
D. 
No signs of any kind or nature shall be erected at any of the aforementioned public places or other public lands within the Town of Woodstock without written permission of the Town Board or its duly authorized officer or agent.
It is mandatory that receptacles be used for the disposal of waste and litter when said receptacles are available. When no such receptacles are available, all such waste and litter shall be removed by occupants of said areas.

A violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall constitute an offense punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
