[HISTORY: Adopted by Town Meeting of the Town of Brookfield 10-2-1968. Amendments noted when applicable.]
The Town of Brookfield hereby adopts the provisions of Section 32-7a, 32-7b and 32-7c,[1] as amended by Public Act No. 378 of the 1967 Session of the Connecticut General Assembly, and hereby authorizes and directs the First Selectman to meet in council with the chief executive officer of such other towns in the Housatonic Valley Region, as defined by the Connecticut State Development Commission, as shall by ordinance adopt the provisions of said section.

In connection with said Housatonic Valley Region Council of Elected Officials, as and when formed, said First Selectman of the Town of Brookfield shall have all the powers and authority and be subject to all of the restrictions and regulations as set forth in said statute.
