There is hereby created a special fund, to be known as the "Wilton Emergency Medical Services Fund," for the following purposes:
A. 
To provide support emergency medical services, including but not limited to the hiring of medical personnel and the purchase of medical supplies.
B. 
To purchase, replace, refurnish or equip ambulances or other emergency medical service vehicles.
C. 
To pay for any other expenses incurred directly in providing and administering emergency medical services.
There shall be paid into such special fund:
A. 
Such amounts as may be specifically appropriated from time to time.
B. 
Such amounts as are authorized to be transferred thereto from the general fund cash surplus available at the end of any fiscal year.
C. 
Any gifts or bequests designated or intended for the purposes aforesaid.
D. 
Any such payments made to the Town for the use of any such emergency medical services.
Said fund may be discontinued at any time by action of the Board of Selectmen, in which event the balance of said fund shall be transferred to the general fund of the Town.
