The purpose of this article is to regulate traffic within the Charter Township of Blackman.
The Charter Township of Blackman hereby adopts by reference the traffic regulations set forth in Act No. 300 of Public Acts of 1949, being the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code,[1] for the regulation of traffic within the Township boundaries, and as hereinafter amended.

Any person found guilty or responsible for a violation of a provision of Act 300 of Public Acts of 1949, as most recently amended, shall be liable and responsible to the Township for the costs of prosecution of said violation; such costs shall include, but not be limited to, attendance in court by officers for the purpose of testifying at motions, pretrials and trials, work by counsel and any other costs directly associated with a prosecution.
