The purpose of this article is to provide for the enforcement and administration of the Life, Health and Safety Code.
The Charter Township of Blackman hereby elects to assume responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the Life, Health and Safety Code Number 101 promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association.
The Charter Township of Blackman designates the Blackman Township Public Safety Director, or the Director's designee, as the enforcing agent to discharge the responsibilities of the Township under this article.
Any person, firm, copartnership, company, or corporation who shall violate any provision of this article shall, on conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 90 days or by fine of not more than $100, or by both fine and imprisonment.
