There are hereby created in the City of Egg Harbor City the positions of Interpreter and Assistant Cemetery Caretaker.

The Interpreter shall be appointed by the Common Council for a term of one year running concurrently with the calendar year, except that the term of the first person appointed to said position shall expire on January 1, 1972. The duties of the Interpreter shall be such as are assigned to him/her from time to time by the Judge of the Municipal Court of Egg Harbor City. A vacancy in the position of Interpreter shall be filled by the Common Council for the unexpired term only.
Appointment to the position of Assistant Cemetery Caretaker shall be made by the Board of Trustees of the Egg Harbor City Cemetery. The term of Assistant Cemetery Caretaker shall be during good behavior. The duties of the Assistant Cemetery Caretaker shall be as prescribed by the Board of Trustees of the Egg Harbor City Cemetery.
