It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, organization
or other party in any manner to paint, print, place, put or affix or cause
to be painted, printed, placed or fixed any sign, placard or advertisement
of any kind on or to any tree, fence, pole or other object within 10 feet
of the limits of any public street or in any parking lot located within the
limits of the City of Amsterdam.
A violation of this article shall be deemed an offense against the article,
and any person convicted of such violation shall be liable to a penalty of
a fine of not more than $250, imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both
such fine and imprisonment.
