The special fund known as the "Daggett Farm
Fund" shall be maintained by the City of Pawtucket for the maintenance
and upgrading of the Daggett Farm in Slater Park operated by the Division
of Parks and Recreation.
The Daggett Farm Fund shall be created by public
donations, public and private grants, rental fees, concession fees
and any other revenue derived from the Daggett Farm. All moneys collected
pursuant to this section shall be applied to the Daggett Farm Fund.
The Director of Finance shall set up a trust and agency account to be used specifically for the purpose described in §
40-49.
The Director of Finance shall have the authority
and discretion to allocate and disburse those funds that the Superintendent
of the Division of Parks and Recreation deems necessary to maintain
Daggett Farm.
The Superintendent of the Division of Parks
and Recreation is hereby authorized to exercise control over those
funds that are ultimately disbursed by the Director of Finance.
The Superintendent of the Division of Parks
and Recreation shall submit an annual report to the City Council outlining
the planned expenditures relative to the Daggett Farm Fund.
