§ 88-28 Compensation. [1]

A. The salary of the Chairperson of the School Committee shall be at the annual rate of $4,000, and the salary of all other members of the School Committee shall be at an annual rate of $3,500.

B. The health and dental benefits received by the members of the School Committee shall be the same as the health and dental benefits received by the members of the City Council.

[1] Editor’s Note: Pursuant to Ch. No. 3106, approved 6-23-2016, the salary of the Mayor, the members of the City Council, and the members of the School Committee shall be increased by 50% of the average of the Consumer Price Index increase, as published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, every two years beginning in January 2005.
