No person shall move a building into the Town or from one location to another within the Town without first obtaining a permit from the Town Board.

Application for a building moving permit shall be made to the Town Board with sufficient time allowed for inspection by the Assessor, who shall place a market value on the building. The Assessor's fees for appraisal shall be paid by the applicant. Every building so moved shall have a market value of no less than $20,000.
Upon approval by the Town Board, such building shall be placed on a permanent enclosed foundation constructed of poured concrete, cement or cinder blocks with vents and access for maintenance. Buildings shall be placed on a permanent foundation within 30 days of approval.
Any building moved into the Town for use as a business shall be of fireproof construction.
This chapter is in addition to any applicable provisions of the Oneida County Zoning Code.
