The Secretary shall be appointed and employed by the Authority. The
term of office of the Secretary shall expire on the first day of February
every year thereafter, and any Secretary so appointed and employed shall hold
office until the expiration of his term and until his successor shall have
been appointed and have qualified.

The Secretary shall possess such powers and shall perform such duties as provided in Chapter 245, Job Descriptions, of the Code of the Delanco Sewerage Authority.
Assistant secretaries may be appointed and employed by the Authority.
They shall possess such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned
to them from time to time by the Authority, the Chairman, the Vice Chairman
or the Secretary. In the absence or incapacity of the Secretary, an Assistant
Secretary shall, and at other times by the direction of the Secretary, an
Assistant Secretary may, assume and perform all powers and duties of said
Secretary.
