No person shall operate a motor vehicle, motorcycle or other motor-propelled vehicle upon the following public highways within the Town of Hamburg at a rate of speed in excess of the speed designated herein. This section shall not apply to ambulances, fire vehicles or police vehicles when on emergency trips.
