The compensation of the Township of Exeter Tax Collector for the collection of real estate and per capita taxes shall be $0.70 per bill collected.

A. 
Each Supervisor of Exeter Township elected or appointed to office on or after November 7, 1995, shall receive compensation for attending advertised general or special public meetings of the Board of Supervisors at the rate of $82.50 for each meeting attended by such Supervisor on or after January 2, 1996.
B. 
No Supervisor shall receive annual compensation under this section in excess of the annual statutory limit set by the General Assembly in Act 60 for Supervisors of Townships within the appropriate population category.[1]

C. 
Exeter Township, by population, falls within the category mentioned in Subsection B of $15,000 to $24,999, which set a maximum annual compensation per Supervisor of $4,125.
D. 
No Supervisor shall be compensated for attending any meetings of the Board of Supervisors in excess of 50 meetings per year; such absences of compensation shall not negate or in any way affect such Supervisor's duty or obligation to attend such uncompensated meetings.
E. 
Since Act 60 of 1995 eliminates the former Second Class Township Code requirement for semiannual road inspections by the Board of Supervisors, such inspections, should the Board of Supervisors elect to continue the same, would be treated as special meeting with their compensation, which is set annually by the elected Board of Auditors, being included as a part of a Supervisor's annual compensation as outlined in Subsection C of this section.
F. 
Compensation set by the Second Class Township Code, as amended, for attendance by a Supervisor at the annual Berks County Convention will not be included as a part of a Supervisor's annual compensation as outlined in Subsection C of this section.
G. 
Supervisors' compensation shall be paid in monthly or quarterly installments.
