A.
Conduct of elections. The regular municipal election shall be held on the second Tuesday of June. Except as otherwise provided for by this Charter, the provisions of the Revised Statutes of the State of Maine, as amended, shall govern elections of all Town officials required by this Charter, except the Moderator, and said elections shall be conducted by the election officials accordingly.

B.
Qualified voter. The term "qualified voter" as used in this Charter shall mean any person qualified and registered to vote in the Town of Bar Harbor pursuant to the laws of the State of Maine.
C.
Write-in candidates. To be considered a valid write-in candidate, a person must file a declaration of write-in candidacy with the Town Clerk, on a form approved by the Town Clerk, on or before 5:00 p.m. on the third business day prior to the election. The candidate must meet all the other qualifications for that office, and in addition, must receive a minimum of 25 votes to be declared elected.
