Pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of the Village Law, the terms of office of the Mayor and Trustees of the Village of Menands are hereby extended from two years to four years.

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 3 of the Village Law, general Village elections shall be held biennially in odd-numbered years. The Trustees elected at the Village election on March 16, 1982, shall be elected for single three-year terms; the Mayor and their successors shall thereafter be elected for terms of four years.
