The Lansdowne Planning Commission, hereinafter referred to as
"Commission," as provided under the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning
Code, is hereby established.

There shall be five members of the Commission who shall serve
without pay.
The members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Borough
Council.
The term of each of the members of the Commission shall be for
four years or until his successor is appointed and qualified, except
that the terms of the members first appointed pursuant to this chapter
shall be so fixed that no more than two shall be reappointed or replaced
during any future calendar year. An appointment to fill a vacancy
shall be only for the unexpired portion of the term.
The Commission shall elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman annually
and make a written report to Borough Council March 1 of each year
and such other reports as requested by the Council and such other
reports that the Commission deems necessary.

The rights, duties, powers, size and term of the Commission
shall be in compliance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning
Code, Act of 1988, December 21, P.L. 1329, No. 170 (53 P.S. § 10101
et seq.), as amended, and with any other Acts of the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania governing Planning Commissions passed subsequent to
this chapter.
