Abandoned vehicles on streets — See Ch. 263, Arts. II and III.
A.
Parking of the following is prohibited on City streets
and parking lots: recreational vehicles, defined as any motorized or towable
vehicle that combines transportation and temporary living quarters for travel,
recreation and camping, Winnebagos, motor homes, buses designed to carry more
than 30 passengers, camper trailers, house trailers, storage and equipment
trailers and trailers designed for the transportation of goods and trailers
for the transportation of recreational equipment. Parking of these types of
vehicles is prohibited whether said vehicle is attached or detached by a hitch
to motor vehicle.

B.
Temporary parking of the above types of trailers shall
not violate this chapter if the time period involved does not exceed six consecutive
hours and the parking is otherwise legal and in conjunction with the loading,
unloading or other legitimate use of the vehicle.

It is the legislative intent of this chapter to discourage the storage
of trailers and recreational vehicles on the public streets and parking lots.
The operation of this chapter shall not be defeated by the movement of the
offending vehicle from one location to another location.

Violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not more
than $250 and any costs associated with the removal of the offending vehicle.
