[Adopted 3-20-1973 by Ord. No. 4142-73 (Section 8-11.1 of Article 2 of Chapter 8 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Clifton, New Jersey, 1960)]
In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, the Municipal Council of the City of Clifton will enter into a joint purchasing agreement with the Trustees of the Free Public Library of the City of Clifton, in a form approved by the Law Department of the City of Clifton, providing for the joint purchase of the following work, materials and supplies for use by their respective jurisdictions:
A. 
Fuel oil for heating.
B. 
Form printing.
C. 
Stationary and supplies.
D. 
Furniture and office equipment of a general nature, not including specialized furniture or equipment for libraries.
E. 
Window-washing services.
F. 
Janitorial supplies.
G. 
Insurance of all kinds, including, but not limited to, workers' compensation insurance, comprehensive automobile liability insurance, catastrophe liability insurance, comprehensive business insurance, Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance, major medical insurance and life insurance.
The terms used herein and in the agreement hereby authorized shall have the definitions set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-2.
This article shall take effect after final passage and publication as provided by law and upon adoption of a resolution authorizing the execution of the aforesaid agreement by the Trustees of the Free Public Library of the City of Clifton.
