Article VI Mayor

§ 3-21 Election; term; compensation.

The Mayor, elected as provided by the Charter for four years, shall be paid in accordance with the Annual Salary Ordinance in the same manner as all other officers and employees. The Mayor will not be entitled to receive any benefits except those mandated by state statutes.

§ 3-22 Absence, disability or refusal to preside.

The President of Council shall serve in place of the Mayor in the event of his absence, disability or refusal to preside in accordance with the Charter.

§ 3-23 Powers and duties.

The Mayor shall exercise the executive power of the Township in accordance with the provisions of the Charter.

§ 3-24 Civil defense and disaster control director.

The Mayor shall be the civil defense and disaster control director.
