The Assessor shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council in accordance with the Charter. Prior to appointment, the Assessor shall have been certified according to law.
The Assessor shall be responsible for the assessment of real estate for tax purposes.
The Office shall be organized pursuant to plan approved as provided in Article VII, § 3-26.
